Les Zaev is an avid, life-long video game enthusiast who was introduced to the medium by his father in the ’90s, where games like Sonic the Hedgehog, TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist, and Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster’s Hidden Treasure often took over the family’s modest TV (to his mother’s likely dismay). While Les enjoys a variety of genres and mascots, his bread and butter are narrative-driven experiences that seek to explore the medium in new ways, be it via distinct, three-dimensional characters or a specific world for the audience to get lost in.
When not holding a controller, Les works as a Script Reader and Analyst in Los Angeles, where he provides feedback for spec scripts from both up-and-coming writers and established industry members. He has years of experience in the improv comedy world and has bombed many, many times on stage performing “comedy” at near-empty clubs. He also enjoys the saxophone, putting himself in debt with new vinyl, and, depending on the day’s humidity and the amount of willpower coursing through his veins, going out for a run.
